Your debts collected....Quickly

Collection Guide

The options on the site have been developed over many years and we believe they offer you the most thorough and effective way to recover your debts available on the web.

The options below are designed for all stages of an outstanding debt and provide services ranging from a first collection letter all the way through to instructing High Court Enforcement Officers to enter a premises and remove goods. We have tried to leave out the jargon to let you choose the best option for your situation. If you have any doubts at which service suits you, send us a message via our
FREE WEB ADVICE system and we will attempt to guide you on the best option.
Remember, any fee you pay is for the service provided. You pay no commissions when the debt is collected*.

It is important that you are aware that the fee is payable for our service and is not a guarantee of successful collection.

The Debt Collector

The short sharp shock. The letter system that tells your debtor that you have had enough. In most cases, this process will be enough to recover your debt. The message of the letters is that you have had enough and have put a professional agency on the case.

Pre-Legal Notice

Last Chance Saloon. A formal notice that tells your debtor they need to pay in 7 days or they could be in Court! This threat is very often the jolt the debtor needs. Please be aware that there is no legal requirement to follow this threat up. You are not obligated to instigate legal action.

Telephone Collection

If you have a working telephone number for your debtor, this is a very successful collection method. The debt will be passed to an experienced member of the collection team. This individual will use their experience and persuasive skills to negotiate a speedy collection. You will be kept informed by email of all developments and we provide a final report. There are no extra fees on successful collection.

Pre-Bailiff Notice

Only to be used if you have an existing Judgment (CCJ) against your debtor. The threat of an imminent bailiff visit is often the shock your debtor needs to finally pay you. *Please note, we will need the Court Claim Number.

Enforce an Existing Judgment via the High Court

Only to be used if you have an existing judgment (CCJ) for £600 or more. We have teamed up with a partner firm and can get your claim transferred to the High Court. This gives you claim more power and for a nominal fee your debtor is faced with the prospect of High Court Enforcement Officers visiting their premises with the power to seize their goods.
Please be aware, that like any action there is no guarantee of successful collection.

Trace

A lot of debt collection letters go to the wrong address. Even stranger, many CCJ’s (County Court Judgments) are registered to the wrong address and are subsequently useless. For a small fee, make your action count.
Please be aware we use very efficient methods for tracing that include the electoral roll, Royal Mail and various other sources. However, there are no guarantees of a successful trace. Please supply as much information as possible. The fee is payable even if there is no trace.

Registered Office Search

Every Limited company has a registered office. This is not always where they trade but should always be where any legal notices should go. Definitely a small price worth paying. Please do not do this if the company is not Limited (ltd).
The fee is payable even if there is no trace.

Legal Service

Instruct our nominated legal team. Fastrack Solicitors are a highly effective firm. They have tailored a service specifically for this site. The service offered via collect-debts.co.uk is a priority service and you will receive the service at their lowest rates. You will be asked to pay just £150 (+ Court Fees) to take a case to judgment stage CCJ.

* A processing fee of £9.50 is charged to handle all successfully collected debts and the balance forwarded to you by cheque when the funds are clear.
